How to get Striped Finehide in Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak
The Monster Hunter Rise expansion pack, which the community has been patiently waiting for, has finally been released. Sunbreak is now available on Nintendo Switch, Steam Deck and PC. Players can enjoy the new story, characters, and gear finally added to the game, and battle a roster of new monsters.
As expected, the new content also brought in a fair share of new material to collect. After all, how can players craft new gear without first finding the materials to make it? However, given the scale of this new expansion, many casual gamers may find it difficult to take on all the new content.
Because there are so many areas, monsters and material collecting methods in the Monster Hunter series, players may need a few tips before collecting certain materials. One of the materials players may need help figuring out how to collect is Striped Thin Leather. So how can players collect this resource?
Monster Hunter Rise: Striped Skinny Farming in Sunbreak
Farming for resources is an essential part of the Monster Hunter series. Players need a way to craft them all with lots of different armor sets and different weapons to collect. However, it can be a bit tedious to find individual components for each piece in a set, especially when the player doesn't know how to do it.
One of the items that players may need is Striped Thin Leather. Collecting the skins of monsters that players will kill is nothing new to the franchise, so seasoned players should see this coming from a mile away. So how can players expect to collect Striped Finehide specifically?
Striped Finehide can only be found on one monster in Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak: The Remobra. While it may annoy some players given that only one monster drops such a resource in the game, the Remobra is a pretty common sight. Players will definitely encounter at least one in their game.
Remobras can be encountered everywhere in the game, so players should have no trouble finding anything to download and carve. It's also worth noting that Striped Finehide has a master rank reward, meaning players may not be able to find them right away from a killed Remobra. But they can do it later.
After the player meets all the requirements, players will have a 30% chance to obtain the Striped Skin in Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak. Given the large number of Remobras in a given region, players should have no problem obtaining this material even if they're out of luck.
Players wishing to collect this material can only be used to craft the Remobra X armor set. A total of four must be collected to craft the pieces needed in the set. These pieces are the boots and gloves of the armor.
